Another one of my Orizuru/Origami Crane pieces will be part of this group art show. I am feeling very excited about this show!

The world we live in is heavy. Politics, elections, billionaires, the changing seasons, the holidays, and everything else we’re carrying, especially this time of year can be hard for a lot of people. We want to make space to acknowledge this as a community while also reminding us all of the things that make life worth getting up for. IN CASE YOU NEED A REMINDER is a group exhibition featuring 80 Bay Area artists sharing the things they love, the things that bring them joy, and the things that help them keep going. A little reminder that even when things feel heavy, there is still good stuff out there. The things that make us pick up the weight every morning and move forward.❤️🌹

A few of my Orizuru/Origami Crane pieces will be a part of a community art show held at Studio One Art Center, an art studio run by the City of Oakland. I am filled with joy that my art pieces will be shown among 60+ Bay Area artists exploring this theme of “Art is Resilience.”

It was a great opportunity to explore wonderful artworks and bask in “joy of creativity,” something I feel is so needed in this current state of the world.
